Na najprometnijoj hrvatskoj autocesti A1 Zagreb – Split – Dubrovnik u promet su puštene obje cijevi tunela «Mala Kapela» i «Sveti Rok». Puštanjem u promet punog profila tog dijela autoceste uklonjeni su svi dosadašnji problemi, koji su stvarani zbog prometnih čepova tijekom pojačanog dolaska turista. U obje tunelske cijevi ugrađeni su najsuvremeniji sigurnosni i pogonski sustavi u Europi, a računa se da će kroz tunel «Mala Kapela» dnevno prolaziti 29.000 vozila, dok se kroz tunel «Sveti Rok» očekuje protok oko 30.000 vozila.
