Croatian wines have once again confirmed their quality by receiving 40 medals and 25 recommendations by the world`s most famous expert wine magazine Decanter, which is 11 awards more than last year. The best graded Croatian wines were Bodren Bodren ice vintage 2009, which received the most prestigious award – the regional trophy, and Krauthaker Graševina, the chosen harvest of dried grapes in 2009, which won the gold medal.

More than two hundred distributers, wine buyers, sommeliers and media representatives have recently tasted Croatian wines at the first Wines of Croatia event held in London.

Croatian wines have thrilled the judges with their quality and they were proclaimed the hit of this year’s competition that was organized by the well-known London magazine Decanter during which they won eight gold, five silver and 11 bronze medals, and also three wine varieties received recommendations.
