One of the most prestigious world organisations for handing out tourism awards «World Travel Awards» has recently published the nominations of countries and continents for this year. Among some fifty categories in Europe, there were 12 Croatian representatives in eight categories.

TAP Portugal, the Portuguese national airline, is introducing a new line between Lisbon and Dubrovnik in June. The first aircraft will connect the two cities on 23 June and flights are planned for every Thursday until 25 August 2011. Five low cost European airline companies have recently announced that they will introduce new direct flights to Dubrovnik in April and May next year.
